  1. I agree with ashar and I add that Wales gave to France several games at the 99 world cup... So it was a kind of "money back". Welsh wanted only one quater-final with one team, New Zealand cos they were sure to fill millenium stadium...


  2. for france to host the RWC they needed votes therefore they offered games (at the stadiums) to the nearby nations in favour of there votes.....

  3. the real reason it happened is because in past world cups... games were held in france and when wales hosted it, so it is a payback, it has nothing to do with votes.
