Why is the moon so influential for spell casters/witches/wizards, etc, etc etc?

anyone who practices spells or anything related to that nature, why is the Moon so important? and why is it that spells are more powerful when there is a full moon?

The moon is a visual form of the Goddess, the full moon isn't always the best time.  

Each spell has it's own purpose and drive and must be performed in a way to benefit it the most.  For example, a spell to help end an addiction, would best be done during waning moon, where things are taken away.  A spell to heal, would best be done at the crescent moon when the new brightness is coming out.  Some are best done during the day, some are best on Tuesday, some are best in the winter, some are best in June.

Each spell has life it's self, and for any spell to work well, it must be done at a time when all influences are working as one toward a common goal.

The moon appears from historical documents to have been believed in as a powerful entity for several reasons: First, ancient people noted the sameness of the cycles of the moon with most womens menstrual cycle. The moon went through 4 stages every 28 days, and had 13 cycles per year. Consequently, it was associated with red menstrual blood which ancient people considered powerful. They also noted the effects the moon had on the minds of people. The words lunatic and lunacy are derived from the word lunar. The moon was noted mostly during the darkness of night. Night time was the time enemies could attack, it was the time for evilness to actualize itself.

I'm not a spell caster but I know exactly why the moon has a primordial influence in everything,    at the first quarter,  in the way to full moon everything is growing including humans, plants, fishing and many more things,  the moon has influence in the ocean tides also.

Let me tell you this,  you may be are not a believer, but I will make you believe now.

Tell me why the cat's eye sometimes are round and others a vertical line?   When the tides are low the cats eye are a vertical line, when round it means the tides are high, Don't believe yet, OK  when you see a round cat's eye, make a little cut on your finger and you will see a lot of blood coming out,  do the same cut when the pupil is a vertical line and you will see very little blood coming out from the cut, Why this happen,,  The tides of the oceans influenced by the moon.

I have more to say about it but I think is enough for now.

When the moon is full every thing on earth is at the climax, more power, more energy. On the contrary when is fading everything is negative. When you apply this knowledge people think you are a witch, NO you are using the knowledge of nature to your favor.

The energy of the waning and waxing moons are used to banish and invoke. Spells aren't more powerful on the Full Moon, its just the beginning of the waning cycle. Obstacles are presented to the Full Moon and the waning energy disappates them over 14 days.  The New Moons waxing energy brings things to the practitioner. One can use Solar energy in the same manner, the difference being that the moon cycle is only 28 days, not 365 days. So, the work manifests quicker.
