Why is the new fight night called prizefighter?

is it because Don King bought it? or did he just make his own game?

The last time someone other than EA Sports came out with a boxing game it sucked.  I wish I could be one of the designers.  I dont like some of the things that are in the latest game,  FK rd3.  Its the best ever but I would change a few things.  For starters,  they made Floyd Patterson look like the HULK.  Frazier, though a powerful puncher isnt 99.  I dont know why they took Marciano out of the game.  

I understand why Forman and Tyson will never appear in any of the games.  Its ok,  just keep giving us the create a character and Im happy.  The graphics were good.  the one with the Klitschko brothers sucked.   I hope the new one is nothing like that one.

I wish they would put Tommy Hearns in one of these games.  I would also like to see Larry Holmes return but do him right.  Man, I wish I could help design the game.  Put Dempsey in there too.  Instead of the fictional characters,  Im SURE they could get a license for some of the contenders of the 70s and 80s.  I would love to see Shavers, Lyle, Ellis, Young, Chavalho, Foley.  I'll bet many of them, or their families would give the rights.  

I would even like to see Chris Byrd return.  I had a love-hate thing with him because he was hard to beat.  My Tyson struggled to track him down.  The movers dont move like him in the latest game.  I like tracking down the runners.

I would like to see Aaron Pryor and Howard Davis in there,  Ray Boom Boom Mancini too.  Put Buddy McGirt in there or have him as a trainer.  

I'll just wait and see.

prize fighter is not linked to fight night or ea games.  fight night round 4 has been leaked that they will be making it but the overall game is doing some major revamping ( parry super punch parry super punch ko for the win)  things like that are going to be going.  no dates have been set.

If the old owner owned the rights to the phrase "Fight Night", a new owner would have to come up with a new program name even if nothing else changed.

To my knowledge the new boxing game isn't made from EA Sports, which is the big reason. I think 2K Sports are the makers behind this new game.
