  1. Is this just another one of those questions where you post some useless tidbit to bait another group? I think so.

  2. The UN, IMF and World Bank all have very low ratings when it comes to accomplishing their goals.  In a nutshell, these organizations have not succeeded very well in meeting any of the goals and objectives that they started with.  Maybe that is why when Americans research them, they decide that they are not the best bet.

  3. Because Americans see them for the corrupt and clueless institutions that they are.

  4. because Americans dont need to work overseas

Entire world looks for a chance to work in the US

all the major corporations are based in the US

Americans dont even goto canada to work forget about Europe,Australia or japan and

US the greatest, richest and most comfortable nation on earth

therefore its better over here then overseas

  5. According to the IMF's 2006 annual report, out of a staff of 1999 professional and managerial staff, of which 23% are Americans. Considering that there are 184 members in the IMF, that's quite a lot - more than any other single country.

The IFC is a branch of the World Bank. All I could find out is that there are more than 3000 staff from 126 countries.

By the World Bank's rules, its largest shareholder (the US) nominates the person for President of the Bank, which is thus always an American. I couldn't find more information about the staff except that there's about 10000 distributed worldwide.

So at least the IMF hires a lot of Americans, and for sure all of the international finance institutions are heavily influenced by American senior management.

  6. Americans live in the greatest nation on earth

Why would they want to leave and go work overseas in 3rd world hellholes?

Maybe it's not that these organizations aren't hiring many Americans, maybe it's that not many are applying for employment.
