Why shouldn't he ask? He can do that. By putting her in that position he just makes her look like a self-centered opportunist by not doing so. Rather then Clinton demonstrating even a modicum of integrity, now she just looks like another political weasel. Good strategy on Obama's part.

Hillary started the race thing off herself with comments about LBJ being the one on the civil rights situation, not MLK to get laws passed.  She lied, history and proven evidence showed that Republicans keep trying to get their rights for them and the Democrats kept it from being done. Hillary better be careful, more of her lies will be coming back to bite her in that large rear end. Guess she did not know that Martin Luther King was a Republican.  Right now it is d**n if she does and d**n if she does not, she has weaved her web and caught in it herself.  The reason she is not in the kitchen is because her cooking is as bad as her past criminal history.
