  1. because the sun is out more..its also hotter...this bleaches the sand and makes the water clearer and brighter...when farther up north...the sand is darker...plus it has a lot more rocks..so the water appears darker


  2. The sun ! It is very hot in the Caribbean and Miami so the sun reflects on the water which you see the color. It's beautiful !
