  1. it has nothing to do with that...it means  partial deck above the main deck or the mezzanine deck...thats all...

  2. The name comes from a french word "la poupe" Which means stern. The p**p deck is the stern deck. Now you should find out why they call the toilet on a ship, "the head".

  3. Oh..  come ON!!!  Do  I REALLY have to DRAW you a DIAGRAM...???  And SHOW YOU???

Ok..  there was NOT a 'deck' that was known as the PEE deck...  (HHHmmm  ...  wonder WHY???)  Butt...  (Yeah..  there were LOTS of BUTTS showing on the p**p deck...)  Are you SURE you need me to TELL you WHY???  2nd - or 3rd GRADE...  WHERE are we here?!

OK...  they 'POOPED' on that deck...  and the WAVES cleaned the deck!

    What you think about that?

  4. BB is correct.

BTW, the "head" is called the head because it used to be at the front of the ship, where the hull flares out over the water.  That way, the waste can just fall overboard without requiring plumbing that can clog, or through-hulls that can leak.
