  1. It shows social class does not affect true love

  2. the great gatsby was amazing!

but anyway. it makes everyone feel good and happy at the end of the day to know that love can find anyone, and that it doesnt matter how rich you are or if you live in a cardboard box. it gives everyone hope that one day someone will accept them for who they are, regardless of social or financial positions. it warms the heart doesnt it :) except the ending of the great gatsby, that broke my heart.

  3. Actually in The Great Gatsby, Gatsby was very wealthy. But i hear what you're saying. I reckon at its core it's because we hold onto the ideal of redemption, and that love cannot be limited by economics or social position. But as to why the girl is always rich and the guy is always poor...mmm...i'm stumped... interesting question, though.

  4. titanic because rose was so sick n tired of all the fancy way of life she wanted something different

she met jack he showed her a real way to party

thats its ok to do the things that guys do like ride horses n etc

  5. The same reason we all love the underdog that goes on to win a dance/martial arts comp.

Because it inspires hope in us. It makes us believe that we can do things we wouldn't otherwise think that we could.

It shows the poor that they can find love and move up in the social ladder and it shows the rich that they don't have to settle for the up them selves rich people that always seem to be in these movies.

  6. It's the modernized version of "Cinderella" - where the Prince shows up and carries the woman away to live a magical life ~
