Marco Polo never traveled on the water so why is it named that?

  1. Yes Marco Polo travelled on water, was he not the first europian to sight America? The game might have been when the ships lost sight of each other in the mist, so one boat would shout or blow the fog horn to guide the other ship who could not see.


  2. Uh yeah.

    Person who answered first, Marco Polo never even saw America. Who really knows why the game is a called that. Maybe it was something the people did to avoid getting lost in like fog. I think it's played in water cuz on the ground if you walk around with your eyes closed you could trip, run into something or fall, but in a pool the worst thing that could happen is you stub your toe.

    Marco Polo travelled to and traded with China.

    He was from Italy. I'm not sure why the game's named after him.

    Maybe finding the rest of his party in a desert storm or something?
