Why is the power of the dollar cracking down?

We all known that Bush put the cherry over economical disaster I think the oil currency reference will be the euro soon.

  1. It has a lot to do with the structural problems in our economy which have not been fixed. We have such a large trade imbalance that people don't want dollars, so their value is plummeting.


  2. Yep, if we bought gas in euros, we'd be back to $2/gallon.  People don't understand that the trading value of the US dollar has lost HALF of it's value since Bush was signed into office.  Ah well.

  3. Overspending congress and loose credit by the fed causing the Treasury to print more and more money out of thin air.  With no new value behind it, the value sinks.
