  2. There are a lot of unsolved crime in Australia, and this is just one of them. I don't think it is any more important to history than any of the other crime mysteries, such as the Bogle/Chandler case, or the Beaumont children case, or other cases like them. I think it is more the intrigue of them that keeps people interested, and, of course, the police would like to solve them and bring closure for  the relevant families.
