Why is the search bar not remebering my web sight searches?

When I go to type in a web sight I've visited in the past it would automatically appear in the search bar as soon as I typed in the first letter of the web sight name. Now I have to type in the entire web sight name. What gives?

Open inet options in the control panel. In content enter auto complete and enable web addresses.
