  1. Hello! it may be the starter switch playing up, or, Starter Relay faulty, also check all connections to and from these items, i.e. positive & negative connections/wiring. best wishes, good luck.

  2. There could be a couple of reasons for this, first the new battery does not have the amps to turn the starter. This could be because the battery is not the correct battery for the engine size or that it is not fully charged. The other reason for this is that the solenoid has jammed, you will need to remove the starter and check the condition on the bendix gear.

Before you do anything your really need to check all the connections from the battery to the starter motor. More than likely the quad has been through lots of water and mud during its life and I would not be surprised if there is corrosion on the electrical connections.

    Ja.

  3. check and see if the starter is jambed.. Motor could be locked up also. Take the sparkplug out and see if you can turn it over.

  4. I am presuming you mean it clicks when you try to start your quad, so it Could be few things. Dont discount the battery even if it is new that doesnt mean its fully charged, check all main leads including earth connections, then if you can remove the starter and see if it spins when removed if it doesnt it could be jammed or faulty, if it spins try turning the engine manually, if the engine wont turn then that is either jammed or siezed up. marc

  5. Starter switch might be screwed up.
