Why is the sound on my Xbox 360 delayed when I use HDMI?

I recently connected my Xbox 360 to my PC and ever since I did that the sound on my Xbox occurs about 2 seconds after the picture, Everything other than that works fine it's just a little annoying playing it as it is.

I am using an HDMI cable which works fine on my TV using 1080i but the sound delay happens with my monitor using 1080p. Changing the display or audio settings on the Xbox doesn't make a difference . . . Could some one please help?

  1. I think you need to double check if your  that you TV is 1080p compatible.  I think that's what is causing the problem.
