  1. Here is what i have collected for my science coursework so don't copy the full answer word for word

The most visible danger of exaggerated sun exposure is the burning effect caused by the UVB rays. The effect is mainly due to immune cells in the skin releasing histamine, which causes blood vessels to dilate and the possibility of acute inflammation. Some cells may also be injured by the sunlight to such an extent that they die, causing the upper layer of the skin to flake away. This effect is mostly caused by the UVB rays.

Over exposure to sun can also lead to the cause of cancer known as basal cell carcinoma, effects caused from both UVA and UVB rays. This type of cancer looks like brown flakes or brown spots and may be difficult to distinguish from liver-spots. However, this kind of cancer is little malignant and is in most cases just a cosmetic problem.

Scientists have found that UV radiation can restrain proper functioning of our body’s immune systems and the skin’s natural defenses, increasing the risk of infection and disease.

  2. the sun also emits alpha particles in its flares which are highly ionizing, which will cause you skin to become cancerous.

  3. the sun's radiation is not that much dangerous but it can be dangerous some times, and it's because of the presence of Ultra Violet Waves in it and these UV waves can produce lots of energy when absorbed somewhere and also can cause some problems in the skin cells so by knowing all these being under irradiation of UV for a long time could be dangerous.

As we said before sunlight contains UV but not that much and being under irradiation of sun is not safe because of the mentioned reasons...

  4. bcoz of the ultraviolet radiation which the sun radiates along with the visible & infrared.Ultraviolet rays are supposed to cause skin cancer & has very high frequency, more than the violet light of visible spectrum. The blackenning of our skin on prolonged exposure to sun is the result of the same.

Though ozone layer is considered to protect us from it but still,a portion of it reaches us.

  5. Because the UV rays given off by the sun can damage our cells, leading to cell mutation.

This cell mutation, if very strong, can cause rapid and uncontrollable cell division, causing cancer.
