  1. If you use the word "night" before 12 midnight, it may be redundant.  Otherwise it is OK.

  2. because midnight already implied that is 12 between night and day..

the same thing goes to noon, 12 between day and afternoon..

    ^_^

  3. If you want to use "12" it's not redundant, to distinguish 12 noon from 12 midnight but it IS redundant if you consider that "midnight" is sufficient ( as is "noon" ). On the other hand, if you wish to specify PRECISELY 12 then it is OK as is.

  4. It's not, as I do not know if you mean 12 noon, although it might be best just to say "noon" or "midnight"

  5. It really isn't depending on what time you answer the question. If you say you're having a party tonight at 12 midnight then it's redundant. If you say you're having a party at twelve in the afternoon.......get my drift.

  6. It might be redundant because the context makes it clear. But the phrase by itself shows no redundancy  If you want to be precise about the time you have to say 12, and then you have to distinguish between noon and midnight.

  7. I don't think it is redundant.  It's explaining 12 at night.  If you just said 12, no one knows does that mean 12 midnight or 12 noon.

  8. its not...12 at noon or 12 at midnight...although midnight is 12 o'clock
