  1. Because someone in the Czech Republic can do my job for one-fifth the cost of living here in CA.


  2. It is not just California. And it is not your state government. It is industry figuring out that manufacturing and software coding and  dozen other types of jobs can be done nearly as well for a lot less money somewhere else.And it is an administration that gives them subsidies and tax breaks to do it.

  3. Because doing business in California is expensive and companies rather locate elsewhere than try to run a business, get slammed with Cali taxes and have employees demanding tons of money because real estate is off the chart..

    Cali's only economic solution is to learn the ways of the Republican Party and slash taxes across the board and throw money at businesses to locate in the state so the masses will be employed.

  4. b/c state government is messing with economy, trying to help the working people and failing miserably.
