Back in the 60's, you couldn't even say the word "toilet" on TV.

because when people in radio say that word, people automatically think of poo, and they dont like that. another variation of that word ****, that maybe more tastefull to radio usage, is excrement. although, radio stations in satellite radio say it with every sentence.

When they play one of "Pinks" songs of the radio in Australia they edit the word suck. Even YA doesn't mind suck and they are pretty strict.

You can watch murder and violence on an unrated news show but watch out if you hear the word suck or as you said sh*t, you'll be doomed.
