  1. how i feel is that when a country makes a statement like that they get what they deserve

  2. Why do we pick on Iran and its nuke program when half a dozen or more nations have one?  Why didn't we pick on France, England, China, Russia, India, Pakistan and ISRAEL?  Why the h**l did Israel need nukes with us protecting them?

  3. The world does not care, or feel threatened, by Iran.

Israel is behaving like a foot stomping little brat, running to mommy USA all the time.  Israel has one of the most advanced militaries in the world, so why are they frightened?

  4. Maybe they would if the world called on all other countries to dis-arm as well.

  5. Why is the world tolerating israels false prov ado? Haven't the jews done enough when they invented the nuclear bomb? This will be their legacy to the world for generations to come!

  6. fear,  what else could it be besides fear?

  7. . . . . . . and do what? EU is clear there is no alternative BUT diplomacy. Admiral Mullen is clear we can't afford to open up an other front, Defense Secretary Robert Gates has warned, war against Iran will be disastrous at many levels.

Iran wants NW as a deterrent to Israel, so if Iran is to be pressured Israel must disarm as well.

US simply can not afford another war, deficit is at highest in the history. the cost of Iraq war is over half a trillion, most of it borrowed. In other words if US was a business it is broke & China owns it's a$$$. Exact figure thus far is . . . $541986255670

  8. First, Iran is not being asked to "disarm," but to halt its nuclear enrichment program.  And since when has Iran threatened to wipe the US off the planet, in addition to Israel (Iran hasn't threatened that, either)?  That's a new one on me, and I try to follow these issues fairly closely.

Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, never said he wanted to wipe Israel off the planet, and he certainly hasn't said that about the US, either.  Ahmadinejad may be a bit of twit, but he isn't crazy and he isn't stupid.  He knows full well that if he were to attack either Israel or the US, it is Iran that would probably cease to exist.

As for Iran having nuclear weapons, no, I do not want that.  But then again, their having them is no worse than other countries having them.  Remember, the US that is the only country that has actually used nuclear weapons, and they contemplated using them several other times, such as in Korea and Vietnam (this is a matter of historical record).

Actually, I'm much more concerned about India and Pakistan having nuclear weapons.  Iran hasn't attacked anybody since it's been "Iran," and even as Persia has not attacked anyone since the days of Alexander the Great.  India and Pakistan, on the other hand, have fought several small wars in the last sixty years over border disputes.

Look, Iran test-fired some missiles the other day and couldn't even get them to work right.  Missile technology is a great deal less complex than nuclear technology.  The technology to build nuclear weapons has been around for sixty-three years now, and although a number of countries have tried to develop it, only eight actually have.

  9. How was it that Israel managed to get 200 nuclear weapons and the US said NOTHING. So just what makes Israel so different ? The world only found out about this after a defector arrived in London and told a major British paper. This poor man has now spent 8 years in solitary in an Israeli jail. Typical Israeli justice.

  10. Why do we tolerate the fact that both Russia and China are heavily armed with nuclear weapons which can easily hit any target around the world? China's missle can even shoot down the satellite on the orbit, yet has US done anything  yet? Has any wesntern nation ever demand to disarm Russia or China ?

  11. 'The world' is calling upon Iran to disarm?  Hmm, first of all, there is no organization that speaks for all the world because all the world has different opinions.

Secondly, can the world rightfully "call upon" Iran to disarm if they are a sovereign nation?

Are you familiar with the U.S. History in Iran and how we meddled with their politics?  Yes, this is before the embassy incident.

Muslims, Jews, Christians, they all came from the same religion!  And they all cause trouble all over the world.

  12. who are we to say what any soveriegn nation can do?

besides, they arent enriching uranium to weapons levels according to the IAEA.

We cant go to war on ONE MAN'S OPINION...we tried that, and it turned out he was lying

  13. Disarm? There's not the slightest proof they are arming themselves, and they are in full compliance with the NPT. And maybe Fox news says the whole world is against Iran, in reality much of the world is sick of the USA pressuring Iran to stop doing what Iran has a perfect right to do so, 115 nation's just came out in Iran's support:

And Russia has stated that an attack on Iran will be considered an attack on Russia.

The  USA's diplomacy for at least 100 years has consisted of giving other nations ultimatums that are designed for them to refuse, then using their refusal as an excuse to use military action. Iran has called the USA's bluff, not refused some sort of united world demand.

Do you write to Washington and tell them to comply when the UN or the World Court rules against the USA? I'm willing to bet it wouldn't cross your mind.

  14. Dissent within Iran is quite high. Many young people there want a better life with less imposed theocracy in their lives. Give the nation enough time and they will be a more civil nation. The Persians are an advanced people. They are not the enemy -- the regime is.

  15. Let's make the world a much safer place by making every nation with nuclear capabilities to dispose of its nuclear reactors.  I sincerely doubt the USA or Israel would be the first ones to volunteer, though.
