Why is the worthiness of USD fall so much?

i'm in croatia and our currency is "kuna"

from always i know that 1 usd worth 6 kunas

now is 4,6 kunas...

and it is not just in our currency...

That is thanks to our lovely politics and current economic status in the US. The economy is on a down hill slope due to fuel prices, which transfers into all aspects of the economy. Its costing more and more to go to work, and its costing more and more to buy goods. Houses are really cheap right now, but its very difficult to sell a house right now. Gas prices are dropping, but I think people right now are going to hold on to their money. We are also losing numerous businesses. Factories are all going overseas, leaving many people without jobs. If people have no money to spend, the dollar loses value.
