  1. Please explain further ? Most diodes they used in the past were green or red because they were cheaper to make than any other colored diode especially blue. With LEDs we are seeing all different colored "lights"

  2. I think I know what your asking. It's a spectrum thing. If you mix all the colors together you get black. But white on the other hand is harder to get. If you use light, red, green and blue, make white. so using these, you can get any color you want. If you look really close at a tv screen or computer monitor, (Not a flatscreen), you'll see it's made up of tiny circles, these are all varing shades of those 3 colors. Wierd, huh?

  3. The primary colors of light are Red, Green, and Blue.  Those can be mixed to create all the other colors.  For instance, 59% Green, 30% Red and 11% Blue is generally considered to be White; around a TV station, anyway.

So any color you see on a computer or TV screen is a mixture of Red, Green, and Blue.  Black is the absence of light.

    I hope this helps.

  4. that green and red glow is actually a L.E.D(Light Emitting Diode)that is use to transmit light to electrical tools to show the presence of current through it..
