Why is the yugioh card dark armed dragon worth 250 dollars i just want to know?

Because with the current yugioh format it is extremly easy to get out.  If you make a deck that centers around DAD you can win in just a few turns (about 3).  Using allure of darkness, destiny draw, destiny hero disk commander, cyber valley, armagedon knight, and strike ninja all help keep just enough monster in your grave while drawing alot of cards in a short period of time.  Then with the monsters you remove from play can be brought back via return from the different dimension, escape from the dark dimension and stuffs like that.

   BTW!  DaD is only 150 atm, and the looks are 9/9/08 it will be banned or restricted.  And here's a little look at a standard DaD deck (real men don't use Dark Armed Dragon)

It is a good and powerful card. In some decks its very useful and hard to beat if they build it right.

It's a good card in dark decks, plus it's a secret rare foil.

Because it's a very strong card, a deck built around it can win you TONS of tournaments.

Why does it cost so much? Because it's so hard to get!

It's extremely useful do to the fact that Phantom of Darkness cards are being spammed in the Meta-game, and they work perfectly with it.

I don't believe it's still quite that high in price, but you also have to consider how rare it is.
