Why is the “Auto Insurance industry” the only industry mandated by our Government (State or otherwise)?

We MAY NOT legally drive on any public roadway without first being “covered” by SOMEONE in the “Insurance industry”...

Do ya think Auto Insurance would be cheaper if “personal responsibility” was built into each policy?

Most states allow you to drive without insurance if you post a cash bond instead.
