  1. may be ur monitor lifetime is gone and i think u need 2 replace it

  2. sounds as though something is overheating, we have a faulty batch of NEC monitors at work, after 10-15 minutes when they get warm we get various vertical lines on them, according to the manufacturer it was part of a large faulty batch which did not have the screen glued properly and it seperates under heat.

  3. no, it is the monitor. ur color tube has been put under too much strain and has gt spoiled!

  4. Check if it is plugged in all the way

  5. usually thats a bad video card or loose connection.

  6. ussually thats a video card issue.  Power down and make sure that the video card is tightly in place, then (with the door open) power on the computer and check to see that the video card fan is spinning.  If it is you could still have an issue with the power supply not being strong enough for the card.  Alot of times a good video card and a bad power supply will result in the card taking all the power and the fan not having enough to do its job.

If everything looks fine internally the shut down and reseat the card.
