Why is there a Pepsi logo on my bottle of Dr. Pepper?

They seem to be made by two entirely different companies at the moment, but some Google searches hinted that Pepsi either used to own Dr. Pepper or still does.

But if Pepsi doesn't own Dr. Pepper currently, how would a bottle with their logo stamped into it end up being filled with Dr. Pepper?

Dr. Pepper is owned by Snapple Corporation. Since the company doesn't have their own bottlers, they outsource their bottling to other companies, one of the being Pepsi which does about 30% of Dr. Peppers bottling.

Dr. pepper may be owned by pepsi. kinda like fanta is owned by coca cola.

Unfortunately Pepsi does own Dr Pepper that is why the logo is on the bottle. Go to KFC owned by

PepsiCo and you see nothing but Pepsi products sold there among thier products Dr Pepper.
