  1. china's taking over tibet and nobody in the world agrees

  2. China took over Tibet. The world doesn't like it.

Go rent the movie Seven Years in Tibet.

  3. Tibet is an autonomous region something like Puerto Rico and they don't want to be.  There is likely a lot of CIA activity stirring up the population. (Historical perspective of how the US operates)

  4. China had Tibet as a part of its territory for hundreds of years.

That you can confirm by google a map of "Qing Dynasty"(1644 – 1912) and a map of "Republic of China"(Republic of China = ROC = current government in Taiwan, it was ruling entire China before communists took over).

After World War II, China had a 4-year long civil war between nationalists led by Chiang Kai Shek, and Communists led by Mao.

As the communists finally won, the U.S. interfered by sending 7th fleet to Taiwan, and that was the last stronghold of Chinese nationalists.  While the communists established PRC(People's Republic of China).

As a part of the civil war, the PRC naturally try to in heir every part of the ROC.    They made an agreement(search for "Seventeen Point Agreement") with Dalai Lama that Tibet will continue as a part of China, but Dalai Lama will remain in power, and the Han Chinese(dominant racial group) will only set a few military bases in Tibet without really interfering with local politics.

However, due to PRC is communists, the western capitalists countries naturally saw it as an enemy and actively seeking the destruction of PRC.   CIA agents convinced Dalai Lama that the communists will not let him remain in power for long.  And CIA offered weapons, and trainings.    Dalai Lama believed them, and launched a suprised attack on a Chinese military convey, and started the "failed uprising" everybody know.

After the failure of the armed uprising, the U.S. forced India to accept Dalai Lama and his followers.

At the same time, the decades long propaganda of "China invaded Tibet" started.

Ever since, Dalai Lama reduced from the political/religious leader of Tibet into nothing more than a puppet tool of the western anti-communist propaganda.

You can search for the information on Tibet before 1950s.   It was worse than anything you can imagine...with majority population being bound to the land and live to serve the ruling classes - the monks, with Dalai Lama on the top.

Funny thing, even the U.S. recognized Tibet was a part of China before communists took over.  You can confirm that by watch an American propaganda movie released during WWII.

As soon as the communists took over, it became "invasion" of another country.

    Propaganda at its best.

Everyone who believes in it is a victim of brainwashing.

March Riot in Tibet was another plot to get the western population to hate China.   Dalai Lama visited the U.S. not too long before it took place.   Mobs burn down shops, cars, beating Han Chinese to death.   Yet western anti-china propaganda made it look like the other way around.
