Why is there a grounding s***w on my mixer?do i have to ground it? where should i go to..?

ok thx, yeah its a grounding s***w on my mixer, andi got a cable that runs out of that into my light controller, well everytime my strobe would click on my computer wich the mixer is connected to would lock up, so i tried grounding that and it works now, must have made some sort of interference or something thanks!!

I'm not sure if I'm understanding this correctly, but if you mean like a grounding s***w on a 'music mixer' its for things like old record players that need to be grounded through the mixer to avoid any electrical problems and 'noise loops' and hum that an old turn table would produce without proper grounding.


  2. Grounding screws are used to protect your equipment.

    They are used to blow a fuse and not fry the equipment in case their is a piched, crossed, cut or short circut in the systems wireing
