  1. Mockingbirds often sing at night, especially when the moon is out.  It's claiming its territory.

  2. This is normal behaviour.  Birds sing early in the morning and late in the evening because sound carries better at these times than it does mid-day.  It is mating season, so he will most likely be at it for quite some time.

  3. Bet there is a light on somewhere.

  4. birds sing at night also...a huge white oak tree is right beside my bedroom window and i hear birds singing a lot. It actually helps me go to sleep.Mockingbirds can make many many different sounds and will mock anything (hence how it got its name) i live in Tennessee and it is the state bird so there are LOTS here!

  5. OMG!  There is a bird outside my window that sings everynight also!  It drives me insane...i feel like the girl on Failure to Launch!  Anyways, I guess it's normal....??
