Why is there a running section, but not an athletics section which covers track and field?

Do you field athletes feel unfairly like second class while the runners get all the glory?

not really beacuse as you will see most of the questions are about track & field. It's the person who started the section who named it incorrectly

Aaaargh!  It drives me crazy.  When I ask questions about track and field I often don't get proper answers.  Maybe you should post this question in the polls and surveys section and ask everyone to star it if they agree with you.  They will definately listen then.
