Why is there a small s***w hole on the sole of my driver?

it's a brand new cobra M speed LD 10.5 driver.

i'm just wondering why there is a tiny s***w hole on the bottom of my drivers head (the sole)

Sometimes the maufacturers add a small amount of lead in the sole to bring the club within specification.
