  1. its not a war cry. its a ki yap. its meant to intimidate ur opponent and at the same time remove any fears, self doubt, frustration or anger. it gets you focused and ready for the fight. and its even better when used on lil 11 year old brats who dont have respect for 3rd Dan instructors or 5th Dan Masters.


  2. if u just punch/kick someone without a "war cry" its not as strong as if u did have a "war cry"

  3. the ''warcry '' is where strength comes from if u do not look into this seperately ull be a master before u no why that is so just take my word for it or look into it there is a reason for it

  4. It's called a kihap. It releases all of you air in your body in an instant hardening your body to give or receive an attack. They should be short, sweet, and to the point. There's no need to give a 10 minute kihap, it just wastes time and air.

  5. if by war cry you mean the kia then it is used to surprise or shock your opponent and also to exhale because when you exhale you gain more poer in your technique.
