Why is there ads on my Yahoo home page now?

I don't inderstand why my home page changed. I am not happy. It takes too much time to do anything with that c**p on my screen. Yes, my popup blocker is on.

That is the same question I am asking.  Why, all of a sudden, are there ads popping up?  My pop-up blocker is on, nor do I have a virus.  nebulous
