  1. VET.  Don't wait!  Serious!!!

  2. If the dog's stool is runny and bloody, and he's also vomiting, he needs to see a veterinarian.  There are MANY reasons he could be experiencing bloody diarrhea, including but not limited to parasites, an intestinal foreign body, or other disease.  For proper diagnosis and treatment, see your vet, as there's nothing a website full of strangers can do for you.

  3. Be prepared to shell out hundreds.  Bloody stools and vomiting can be distemper or parvo.  Be sure your vet is the right one for you.  I took two of my pups to my normal 8 mo visit vet (meaning I visiti the vet once every 8 or so months) and noticed her new staff was not as attentive and helpful.  My vet was on call with a horse emergency and I had to rely on the two nitwits to help me....needless to say my vet was not available for the next 24 hours and the treatment the nitwits gave me failed and my pups died.  They were diagnosed with parvo but check this out, a couple of days before their symptoms started I had used one of those otc flea tubes on the 14 wk old pups (i had 3 pups) the two healthier pups died, for the third pup (the runt) I fed her a garlic water tonic every two hours (i was off work work two days + the weekend), which was 2 oz of purified water with 2cc's reg. bleach (not harmful to anyone as a matter of fact is used to purify water in areas where safe sanitary drinking water is unavailable) 1/2 teaspoon of  ground garlic powder and two crushed vitamin c tabs.  In addition to that I also gave her the antibiotic given to me by the nitwits (for the other pups) and the nausea med as well, now before you say oh it was the vet med that saved her, remember the two pups that died I only gave them the vet med and not the tonic.  My pup also had a fever, I gave her infant's tylenol 1/2 of the smallest dose.  By the end of day one she was playing a little and eating....she ate boiled rice and shredded chicken with a little yogurt. By the end of treatment (6days later) she was a normal rowdy pup terrorizing my Chow Chow and any other person or thing that dared set foot on my property.  Sadly though just the last tuesday (10 mos after her bout with death) she ate one of those walking stick bugs and was dead within hours.  It is very important to teach your pets not to sniff or play with things that could harm them, had i known this bug could kill her I would have smacked her soundly so she could have spit it out.  P.s. watch your pets closely when it comes to frogs as frogs are toxic to dogs too.

  4. Because your dog is ill! Internal bleeding is a serious problem caused by many things. All of which you need a vet to treat, and vomiting is serious also. To many things to even think of on here! Good luck

Take a stool sample with you if you can get a fresh one..

  5. It coudl be worms or it could be parvo.  You dont' say age of dog parvo usually is for younger dogs but older dogs or dogs with weak immunes can get it too.  You need to see the vet now.... just take  the dog in.  I have blog on parvo... here is the link for more information. Hope it helps for information.
