  4. Umm.... I went there once..... had a couple of pints....stayed in a very nice B&B....

It seemed like a nice place.

    But nothing special.

  5. Nah, it's not a s**thole, it's actually pretty nice.

If you're looking for a s**thole, try Dundee.

Angel... a more misnamed person I've never heard of, for you are nothing more than a self important little cow. Feel free to report me, I've made my point.

  6. the city of money and oi land granite.great shopping great pubs /clubs plenty eateries what more does a city need .the real aberdonians spik funny but like any other Scots patrons they are friendly.

  7. I am an Aberdonian & can assure you that the place is far from being a sh*thole.

When the sun shines (more often than you would think) the old granite buildings, that are the reason Aberdeen is known as the Granite City, sparkle. We have a beautiful golden sandy beach, several good parks, museums, theatre, cinemas, great clubs & pubs & a good selection of shops. However, Aberdeen's greatest asset is its people. Since the advent of the oil industry Aberdeen has become quite cosmopolitan in its inhabitants & has welcomed people of all nationalities here.

For those of you that have no idea where we are, we are on the North East coast of Scotland.

  8. Probably most people cant afford to be hooked to the internet like us lucky people.

  9. Because everyone already knows everything there is to know about Aberdeen.

  10. It's Boring

  11. Anyplace is rubbish if you look at it that way

  12. Aber Where ?

  13. I was living in John street in the sixties with a little chap called Bugsy Bain my ex wife worked in the chipper downstairs. I still have a son and daughter there and two grandchildren that I know of. My daughter stopped writing to me ten or eleven years ago, but I would just love to hear from her again.

  14. Aberdeen is a very fine city, but it's not a major tourist destination, probably because it's so far away from other large centres of population (even Edinburgh is two and a half hours away by train or road).

  15. Why have you picked Aberdeen? Wierd! It's the same as any other city with good and bad areas.

  16. Hard to penetrate Granite city.

If the new grand Golf course gets the go ahead,

Aberdeen will be in news all over the world like

    St. Andrews, now.
