Why is there more overtime in retail jobs in the summer?

for my business studies coursework i need to find out why there is more overtime in the summer than the winter...(retail jobs,shops,marketing etc)

Hello mate,

I believe that there is more overtime in the summer than in winter because after summer as you know it really is the build up to indoor games and Christmas so this is why i believe there is more overtime in the summer than in winter.
