  1. Thank god there isn't coz you'd have to pay for a new passport each time u moved house!

  2. There's space on the back page (or on the inside cover) to complete. When you move, you should stick a piece of paper over it with your new address on.

  3. Why do u need an address... UK is so small everyone lives next to each other!

  4. I do not think any passports would contain an address.

A passport is not a proof of address but a proof of identity.

It exists so one can prove his identity and origin, therefore an address would not be necessary and besides it would make the passport invalid when you change your address.

On the other hand, you can have both proofs of identity and address accepted in Schengen Treaty binded countries by using your National ID Card (of course, most British do not even want to start understanding it can be a useful thing, in a country where by buying a TV you are automaticaly obliged to prove who you are and investigated for TV Licencing purposes).

Remember that in passports and ID cars there are no mentions of Credit Card details either, which will mean that they are not enough if you want to enter the USA... how interesting.

  5. There is at the back, unless you are rom ASIA then you probably have a stolen one, and in that case you wont have the address section
