Why is there no chevron gas stations in Alberta ?

Chevron has invested heavily in north Alberta's oilsands; hence, perhaps they feel that having gas stations will not increase profit margins.

For the same reason there are no Chevron Stations in many other places.  Chevron has made a business decision to not invest in and maintain a business presence in that area.  They may feel they can't operate there profitably or that they're currently operating all the sites they can handle.
