  1. the climate is very harsh, but no there are no indian or pakistani civilizations, or terrorist activities. But the nepalese do have a civilization there, and they are very talented at climbing the mountains there..

    There is the Tibetan culture in the Himalayas.

    The civilizations/cultures of India, Nepal, Pakistan, China, Bangladesh and Bhutan are also near and/or in the Himalayas.

Seers and sages have always made Himalayas and its innumerable caves their homes to do penance unhindered, subsisting on wild fruits and roots.
