Why is there so many quiznos going out of business.?

there have been nearly 2 quiznos that have gone out of bussines near me in the past 2 years and a couple more a few miles away. I think quznos subs are pricey but i do crave it sometimes it sucks that so many are shutting down.

The Subway $5 deal caught them off guard and them extending it with 6 sandwiches didn't help.  Quiznos is just starting to respond so I think the closings will reduce.  

As far as your local stores, just about all the Quiznos are franchises and there is an excellent chance that the same person owned both.  If he gets into trouble and he doesn't react right, he can be forced into bankruptcy.  

This is common for some (small store) chains that have a small franchise fee because it draws some people who might not have a good business sense.  Nowadays, Quiznos, Togos, Subway, many of the smoothie / juice shops are in this category.

Competition mostly. Subs are going all in with their adverts and many other smaller places are starting to do well with their own sandwiches.

Well because people like eating c**p like subway and like the $5 Sub deal. I hate Subway and there retarded commercials. Who makes those annoying commericals! Id like to shove a $5 footlong down their throat for those stupid commercials. Anyway back to the question. If Quiznos would stop charging 9 bucks a sub they would still be in business. I love Quiznos and Jimmy johns but they need to lower their price for being a sub par sub shop. Go to a real sub shop and not a franchise and  you will have the best sandwich you ever tasted.
