  1. They are probably the descendants of Ottoman harem escapees '

=) besides romantic relations' AIDS is always connected with slavery' and maybe also why itis spread among them.

  2. Well i think that people are just JEALOUS of the Turks. Turks are wonderful people something that they will never be. I'm 100% Turk and Proud of it!!!!!!

  3. It's the same thing with Americans, they joke about Mexicans all the time cos of them high immigrating levels and Turkey is kinda Mexico of Europe. Except Turkey isn't in Turkey, confusing. :S

  4. That's what I want to know. If I didnt like a race or a nation I'd simply keep away from them, but those anti Turk trolls keep slandering instead.

And pfffst who cares about them really. The only thing they'll get from me is being treated arrogantly and being belittled.

EDIT: Puna add to this list Poles, Belorussians, Russians, Ukranians, Albanians, Bulgarians, Romanians and the others I cannot remember now. If Turks who left Turkey 50 years ago to help rubuild the warworn Europe are Mexicans of USA then what those above are? The only immigrants u have there are Kurds, Arabs (and especially Palestinians), Afghans and Iranians. I was a genderme in the army in Kuşadası so I know.

  5. Find me ONE reason why someone whould envy a Turk...Just one...

  6. I would not take those trolls that seriously, but what I am finding interesting is why some users feel the urge to defend those trolls. There is a Turkish proverb, "yarası olan gocunur.", which means "only the offender takes umbrage at the allegation.".

  7. thanks Katie you made a sweet effect on me as the Katie in Lost.

  8. Well, first, I don't think the regular haters are so many, really. They create multiple accounts and choose their own posts as best answers, and if they are lucky they catch a few witty comments about how turkey makes people sleepy, etc.

And second, I learned that hate between nations exist only later in life. I don't remember an extra emphasis during school about how evil this or that nation was. Sure, various armies tried to invade our homeland, but that was war and we overcame in the end. But I see that people are brainwashed about the "evil ways" of Turks from early childhood on, and that doesnot leave much space for rational thought.

Not to mention the bias of European and American media about Turks. You really have to look hard to see comments that reflect the actual events.

Edit: Look, the mother of all trolls, i.e. the biggest envier has come, too. :)

    Sig. Obnoxious Turkish female.

PS. I remember this expression from one certain person, proving that all the different accounts actually belong to one single person.

  9. Oh well, if you have a great history, you are bound to have a cue of people from various nationalities waiting with a basket in their hands for Turks to put some change in it. The horrendous Turk sits on his throne and carefully scrutinizes each of the requesters with his evil, yet exquisite pair of big black eyes. Suddenly, the Turk runs to play with his playstation and you see all those people in the cue, from various nationalities, banging on the doors of the play room while the Turk is enjoying himself. See, it is the mere confidence of knowing "what you are". It isn't hard for me to go and spend hours on trolling in various sections, but why should I? Do I have a reason for it? No. So I am perfectly happy with myself and my country. Who cares what an insignificant bunch of trolls write? The trolls are mostly very, very dumb. I haven't seen many cunning ones around. One was asking about how the Ottomans allied with Adolf Hitler the other day. Now, who, in his sound mind would take that seriously?

Yes envy is the right term. Don't you think it is rather a romantic, cheesy yet stomach sickening love-hate relationship? The Turk doesn't love you so stop proposing guys!

Bah thumbs down, thumbs down! If I give you thumbs down, the gladiator will stick that spear right in your heart or, if you prefer, we might have some African lions in the Coliseum. *motions thumbs down sign*
