  1. They aren't free. It's a trick. The only thing they want you to do is visit their site, which they get money for. It doesn't matter if you leave, because you've seen the advertisements on their page, and that site gets money. If you DO happen across a free credit score site, it's going to send spyware and viruses through your computer. It's also going to take the information you type in and sell it to Third Parties to make extra money.

The "Free Credit Score" attracts people, because you can't get credit scores for free (usually).

  2. the only TRUE credit score is Fico and you can get it from myfico.com.

  3. MONEY

  4. Because you can't get your credit score for free.  Of course, you can't get it for free on those websites either.

  5. To get you to sign up, get your money, and give you your FAKO score, the only one that is totally free is@ CreditKarma.com and that is a FAKO score.

  6. Sales Pitch, there is no such thing as free credit scores.  You can only get them if you enroll in a program (monthly fees applies)

Have you noticed more and more "credit repair adds)? it's also becoming big business.  It's all due to the fact that many people who got credit back in the late 70's and up to now, don't know how to handle credit, and the banks kept them spending what they didn't have.  Sort of like a dope dealer giving it away at first, then hooking you on it.
