Why are so many people in a constant nark?

From people looking daggers at you in the supermarket queue because you can´t find your cards to the nastiness on these boards,( particularly the suggs board, there are people who could hold grudges for Great Britain at the Olympic games ) ...why?

Why is it so hard to smile and be nice?

If someone is nasty to you do you hold grudges or forget about it?

  1. Ok start as from now and write something nice about the Tory party. Can even you do that ?or am I asking too much even from you ?

  2. I have no idea but it has always been this way

  3. I WAS happy until I saw your avatar.

  4. One word: Sin. Hate Racism and Anger are bringing this world down !!!! It's up to The individuals who have sins to correct themselves before Revalation begins!!

  5. only fools smile all the time.

  6. I find it very difficult not being narky in response to someone else's narkiness!

  7. I always let it go. If someone gets under your skin, it's you that gets hurt not them. They walk away and it's forgotten. You hold a grudge and it's going to fester inside you. You are hurt they aren't. makes no sense to me. Cry and the world cries with you. Laugh and the men in white coats take you away. Lol

  8. I've noticed the same - and it's everywhere.

Maybe it's the credit crunch and the stress (even if you can't feel it yet) is rubbing off on everyone.

With our family it's because everyone is tired - end of school term, husband working too hard, me probably getting menopausal.  I'm not enjoying life as much as I should be at the moment either.

I don't normally hold grudges, but it doesn't stop me being a grumpy old bag.

  9. I'm easily narked I'm afraid, but I try to be polite too and I will always hold doors open, say please and thank you etc. It's only ignorant people who wind me up. I do tend to hold grudges though, I don't forget easily.

  10. it's nasty bitter people on on the suggs

board, they need to see a doctor,

maybe get a script for some humour tabs,

they're a shower of misrable gits.

  11. come on now, take a look in the mirror, or at least look at your avatar

  12. I don't think that the UK, with its spying, bullying and nannying regime is a very happy country at the moment and the credit crunch and imminent recession only helps to make people more stressed out.

However, there is no need for the gratuitous rudeness that one finds everywhere but it's best to grit your teeth and ignore it if pos.

My mother used to say that if people are nasty to you just laugh because then they won't know if you don't care what they say or if you are too stupid to realise that you've just been insulted!

This usually works too but  I admit that I can't always stick to it!

  13. I think people are fast losing hope, which is one of the ingredients for happiness.

I'm not a grudge person, say what I mean & mean what I say.

Our planet is going through a big metamorphosis; we've all had it so good for so long & now that's changing.

  14. In real life I am a lot angrier than I am on here lolol.  I was just having a conversation with my bf about this.  He has wanted (but held back) to punch a total of 3 people in his life, while I cant get through a day without having a thought about punching someone (I never act on this thought, but I do get a little peed off when walking along the street and someone suddenly stops right in front of me).

The suggs board just urks me because it is constant posts about how a few regulars (you and me included) are bullies who are nothing but nasty to people and constantly email each other to get rid of certain members.  What annoys about this was the Yahoo were so quick to post a reply to this load of nonsense but have done nothing about the constant barrage of these 'suggestions' etc.

I do generally smile and get on with it these days.

  15. Society has become segmented and polarized. Every group has to have its own identity and be treated differently. Western societies seem bent on creating insular groups through this incessant banter about diversity. There is no harmony in diversity and it is an oxymoron to suggest people will unite following that path. Creating more and more groups at cross purposes to one another creates agitation and resentment. A socially engineered "constant nark", if you will.
