  1. Because there isn't really any such thing.  Crime has dropped significantly in recent years, all around.

However, there has been an epidemic of women lying about being raped when they were not actually raped.  Look up the Duke Lacrosse case or what happened to Penn State RB Austin Scott.

  2. Yes, we make wrong choices-we choose to love men.  I'm sorry-I guess I did take that the wrong way.  Yes, many of us do make the wrong choice, but uinfortunately, we don't always know that until it is too late.  I don't know about it being a "worldwide epidemic," because it is acceptable in many countries.  It has to do with cultural views: we believe it is wrong for men to hit women, so I guess we think every country should adhere to our established set of values.  Maybe it is because I was abused, but I personally find it appalling when violence is perpetrated against my s*x.

  3. Apathy persists because the value of life is cheap, particularly the quality of the lives of the weak and the vulnerable.

When women retaliate, even violently, against the pandemic of gender violence, there will be worldwide attention, I assure you.

Check out the decrease of violence against women & children when local women are armed in significant numbers!

As long a law enforcement is the only barrier between the enabled perpetrator and the weaker victim, crime will perpetuate.  Change the odds, & you will change the outcome!

  4. Don;t take this the wrong way but

    woman make foolish choices

    Doesn't make it right

  5. Because there is always someone to blame for abusing more.
