Why is there so much dog p**p on my school's track

Question

I go to my old elementary school track to jog sometimes, and there is dog p**p some places on the track, So I wonder how can the kids run on it if there is dog p**p, second of all, isnt someone supposed to maintain it.

You are hysterical!  I know what you mean though. My mom (she lives in another state) regularly walks her dog at the school track, with her friends . They are good about picking up the p**p though and they talked to town about installing the p**p bag dispensers so more people are picking up now. But some people are just gross and lazy. Didn't some celebrity just get fined for not scooping his dog's p**p?

It's not the custodian's fault. They have enough to do and I am pretty sure p**p scooping is not written into their job description.

Sorry to hear about it. Maybe there is an environmental club at school that will take up your cause and get p**p bags installed.

People take their dogs there in the evenings and on weekends.  Talk to the school about banning dogs, or at least putting up "clean up after your dog" signs.

a place like a track  at a public school is public property  i.e u cant stop people going across it or using it for their purpose.

there is also another local law that does not allow dogs within certain # of feet from the school property- -now if u can enforce and get a sign to say this on the property i bet u will get less mess on the track.
