  1. It reflects the British publics taste. The many people that say,is it worth the license fee.Whenever intellectual programming is shown, the public complain that it is elitist and does not reflect their lives and so do not want to pay the license fee.The BBC can't win,the public want TV that they relate to in their lives, but then gets attacked for not showing enough rubbish.

The public and not the beeb are to blame,we now have many thick people and they call the shots, the beeb then dances their tune. You are typical of that, two way pull. The i/player means that you can select programmes to your needs,so no-one can complain.l am about to watch gardeners world and then don't die young, someone else can select eastenders and neighbours so we are now spoilt for choice

  2. Its not worth the licence fee cos the BBC spend it all on sports like the Olympics and Wimbledon. I absolutely hate it when other programs run late cos the sports have not finished it really rattles my cage. The only good programs are Top Gear, Eastenders, Dr Who and Torchwood.

  3. some of it is cool, but different people have different taste? :]

  4. They only collect every fortnight now

  5. too many channels on tv these days

  6. because the bbc waste it on S****y  things  like in the Attic flog it and the biggest waste is bargain hunt were the give money to waste

  7. It's very subjective, what's rubbish to me may not be rubbish to you and vice versa.

Tv has to cater for all tastes, ages and interests.

    .

  8. Perhaps you need to tidy up..

  9. Maybe there should be a scheme where you pay only for the programmes you actually watch?

  10. Corporations need to sell their garbage; the best way to do that is by taking risks with T.V. shows.  Commercials pay for the programs you know, one of the reasons cited as to why corporate bodies can never rule the world is their dependency on ads.  If a corporation took over the government, all people would need to do, is stop buying their products, and indeed they sell us a lot of stuff we don't need.  Now corporations in charge of farms, sanitation, etc, now that is a different story...

  11. That is why I have not had a licence for the last 25 years. I also do not have a television

  12. Because people watch it !!!

If nobody watched it, it wouldn't be there.

  13. I know what you mean, the only time my tv gets switched on is to play game consoles, it's not worth the licence fee at all.

  14. Digital channels.

  15. because standards have slipped considerably in the past few years now its all "Reality TV garbage" you only have to look on the Television section of Yahoo Q & A that 90% of it is about Big Brother, then you will have all the X- Factor retards next and all the other c**p shows that follow.

Car crash Tv at its finest

  16. Becoz BBC are putting what we dont want on telly.

If they asked us what we wanted to watch and at what times of day there should be a difference.

They are taking us for granted. Dont you think?

  17. it's television

    television = (in part) rubbish

  18. well over here in the U.S. theres.......yeah not much. Olympics are my only hope as of now.
