I was just thinking about the Cronulla Riots (they happened in Sydney, australia, they was because of mainly Australians disliking Lebanese, middle eastern). It was sickening, they were bashing up anyone lebonese, how can that be justified, and, I know lebonese people/friends who are now terrified of cronulla, yet they are pleasent people.

  1. cultural differences and jealousy

  2. It's because people are perpetually stupid.  People know what they do is wrong and stupid and they still do it anyway.  There is not a one person who can justify being racist, no way, no how.  No matter how someone may have been treated badly by someone of a different race, they cannot justify condemning and entire population.  And I doubt that most racists have even had a bad encounter.  So there. people are stupid and stubborn and that's just how it is.  We can hope that those people will change but it's not likely because, again, they are stupid.  Thank you and have a good night.

  3. because we are all scared of things we don't truly understand and this is the main divide between intelligent people and un intelligent people. we <the intellectuals> try to learn and understand new things, they < the un intellectuals> to destroy it, look at any differences in society , be it race, sexuality or religion people will either learn about it or attack. at the end of the day, the learned are the ones that are better off.
