Why is there starvation in Africa? really?

yo, i saw on TV a show about the wild life. there are so many animals there. why dont we teach the africans to hunt, instead of giving them a bowl of rice a week. for reals, there are thousands and thousands of wildabeasts, there are gazzelle, elephants, lions, hippos. let the africans eat em for god sakes. s***w the elephants! people are starving!! is it right that we let em starve to protect some stupid souless animals? if you think an animals life is more important than a human life, your just plain stupid!

sure give them sharp sticks....a cape Buffalo will kill you just because you smell different.  Many of the animals are in parks and not allowed to be harvested.  One of the things that bring cash money into African countries is rich Americans visiting parks to see these animals.

Humans are a pretty sorry species.  They have to live within walking distance of water or they die.  Often times animals migrate during differing seasons.  do you stay with the water and starve or follow and animals and die from dehydration?  An elephant can produce a calf every two years...How long would they last if they were eaten my millions of people?  

It is nearly impossible for a human being to outrun any species...That makes them prey rather than eater of wild animals.  When their only weapon is a sharp stick they must get very close to kill their meal.   One of their places this is possible is when animals come to get a drink. However the large predators are at the same spots...It's far easier to kill a 150 human holding a sharp stick than something with horns and weighing 500 pounds.  

There are many tribes in Africa that farm. They suffer from lack of food for lack of water.  They too must stay where their crops are growing...Added to this is the tasty things being grown are also tasty to the wild animals.  

The biggest problem arise out of two things...too many people and too little water.

They are starving from poverty!! its also the reason for decreasing populations, this occurs for four reasons 1)land use,2)social structure 3)development 4)policies and global inequality.\ famine in Africa is NOT CAUSED by LACK OF FOOD

Most of the food is grow en then exported to northern countries leaving lack for them you can blame the RICH  over there for this!! The poor farmers Cant afford seeds and fertilizers required to grow a good crop also social structures people Forced to give up the farms.

The food they need is imported and very high priced.Also from developments. Northern Amerasians (the rich) use there land to grow flowers and bananas for western countries!

The immediate causes are drought ,armed conflicts, corruption,and mismanagement of food.the droughts have taken food away from these people.

Inability to obtain foods Raising live stock is there livelihood and very important to trade for food.If they have no live stock to trade or money they go hungry.

If these people could make a sufficient income they would be free from hunger Conflicts has caused a huge shortage Aids has also caused major problem's as well by leaving kids and elderly to support themselves

The idea of killing big animals is nuts they don't have a place to keep and most are  against the laws to kill in Africa!!!!!
