Why is there still no high speed rail from singapore to kl?

To me, its a huge mistake to add more flights instead on this high-capacity route. Its a huge cost on the environment and on fuel supplies.

Only, what, 3-4 trains a day in each direction? It's probably not economically justifiable.

There isn't enough demand, there is only 4 trains a day on that route.

I believe this is not only commercial issue, but also policitical issue need to be resolved.
