  1. All i know is that the england cricket team has the best captain in the world.  (Born an bred in South Africa)

  2. I find it quite worrying that the best man for the job, Steven Gerrard, wasn't even taken into consideration.

  3. Anything for a bit of drama, just like the contrversial refereeing decisions the commentators and pundits are obsessed with. It's enough to drive you crazy.

It has driven me goo goo ga ga wah wah

  4. who ever got it would have upset someone , regardless of who is captain its still the same team and your right they are both as good as one another......

  5. I totally agree with you Red, they're both as good/bad as each other, Capello has made his choice, let John Terry get on with it, i cant see it making any difference whether it was him or Rio chosen tbh.

  6. i don't support England. Heskey can be the skipper for all i care

  7. Babe you're talking about something that has no relevance in the modern world.

  8. I think there would have been arguments either way but for me I would have preferred Rio to get it. I don't doubt John Terry can do the job but to me he was England when they failed to qualify for the Euros so it should go to someone else. I think Rio has earned the chance to be England captin over Terry.

  9. Is this the behaviour that is deserving of the Captaincy of a team that represents this Country? No. Not in my opinion.

And there is a difference between this quite deliberate act and a lashing out that accidentally strikes another person. Apologies were given immediately. JT didn`t apologise for his spitting did he.

It`s not just about the play, it`s an honour.
