In most cases there is only one ref during a racquetball match. Only in some cases during open play can line judges be requested. (Two line judges) Line judges are not allowed in IRT or Classic Pro play. Almost any other sport has at least two and upwards of 7 or more officials watching a game. With as many as a dozen rules to watch for in any racquetball rally a single ref may be able to catch a fraction of the infractions yet are held to a higher level of perfection that most any other official I am aware of.
